Amrita Events is born out of the larger vision aimed at expanding Amma’s charitable and spiritual activities through improving the infrastructure at Amma’s Ashram in Melbourne. As part of this vision. Amrita Hall and Amrita Café are now functional. Amma’s Temple project in Melbourne has also been launched.

Welcome to Amrita Hall, the perfect venue for weddings, special occasions, community events, music, theatre and dance performances.
With an impressive array of special features Amrita Hall is an excellent choice for a wide variety of functions. Amrita Hall originally opened its doors in 2014. After undergoing major renovations from 2022 to 2024 it has been transformed into a beautiful, functional, and versatile venue. Amrita is a Sanskrit word meaning “divine nectar”.

Amrita Hall is operated by MA Centre (Aust) Foundation, a not-for-profit ACNC registered charity within Amma’s Melbourne Ashram Australia, whose mission is to serve and contribute to the local community through a variety of programs focused on spirituality, ecology, education, and well-being. As part of the global “Embracing the World” network, the Ashram aligns its efforts with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, promoting sustainable practices and social upliftment.

The Amrita Academy of Arts and Spirituality Public Library was established to support AAAS’ mission through providing learning and educational resources that promote the ancient knowledge of Sanatana Dharma and Spiritual teachings on selfless service, compassion, and humanitarian values. It envisions a space where deep learning, reflection on the scriptures and creative, artistic endeavors can be nurtured.
